What we do

1864 is established to:

  • Promote the Hampshire Cricket family on and off the field with anyone who has any level of interest in cricket, the club and the community.
Provide full time support across the whole year, not just during the cricket season
  • Participate in the growth of the club through links to the Club and Members’ Committee
Support any who see themselves as a part of the Hampshire Cricket family
  • Develop opportunities for the expansion of the enjoyment of cricket in Hampshire
This means that we will work proactively with Hampshire Cricket, Hampshire Cricket Members Committee and all forms of cricket clubs across the Hampshire region to provide support and guidance where needed, and to both promote and develop the opportunities for people to enjoy the many forms of cricket played, not only at the Ageas Bowl, but right across the region.
